If Tangerine Tango is declared colour of the year, then it comes as no surprise that mandarin is the fragrance note of summer 2012. Each season, Tru Fragrance, a custom fragrance development company hand picks what they deem as the trending note, and calls it their HipNote. Now that I’ve given you a little insider […]

I haven’t even tried Josie Maran’s original argan oil yet, but I think her new limited edition Moroccan Scented Oil Trio will end up becoming my first Josie Maran purchase. How gorgeous will this trio of body oils look on my vanity? I love the apothecary feel of the amber bottles contrasted against the colourful […]

I’ve been rather disenchanted by new fragrance launches in the last couple of years. It seems as though every company is spewing out a slightly different version of the same thing – am I right? Think about it – almost every fragrance is inspired by either romance, sex appeal, a celebrity, or some sort of […]

I’m a sucker for pretty stationery. Every September, my favorite scholarly activity is to go school supply shopping. How academic of me, I know. And if you have been following this blog for awhile, you also know that I am also a sucker for beauty products and tea. Well miraculously, someone… and by that someone […]

Do you remember the infamous Chanel No. 5 commercial with Nicole Kidman? I love commercials with cinematography and an artistic flair. Since I’m sure you can already see that I adore feathery, vintage, decadent kind of aesthetics, it’s not a surprise that I am drawn to Rihanna’s Reb’l Fleur commercial. Through a truly glorious stimulation […]
