CHANEL Paris-Bombay Métiers d’Art 2011/12

There’s something so magical about Chanel that generates such a visceral response. It’s no wonder that Chanel has such a cult-following amongst fashionistas around the globe. In the recent CHANEL Paris-Bombay Métiers d’Art 2011/12 Show, Karl Lagerfeld captures pure opulence by fusing British high tea and Indian decadence, transforming the Grand Palais into Maharajah’s palace.

And because I’m obsessed with all things high tea, impeccable details and soft pastels juxtaposed against gorgeous metallics, I find myself getting lost in this beautiful imagery and daydreaming about the Spring makeup collection that will be inspired by this collection. Apparently, Peter Philips, Creative Director of Chanel makeup is already hard at work on new Bombay Express collection to be launched June of 2012.

So, what do you think Beauty Nerds? Which elements/colors from this Paris-Bombay show would you like to see in the new Bombay Express 2012 collection?
