Clinique’s Chubby Sticks

Who says grownups don’t use crayons? I could not be more thrilled to play with Clinique’s trio of Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balms from their travel exclusive collection!

Check out these cuties from left to right: Mega Melon, Super Strawberry and Woppin’ Watermelon…

Yeah, I know, the colours are in a slightly different order here…

These little chubby sticks are the perfect cross between a lipstick and lip stain. They give that I-just-bit-my-lip kind of red – perfect as an everyday kind of colour. It’s similar to the effect you’d get from a lip stain but without the dryness. Press your lips together and you immediately feel the moisturizing oils working its magic to nourish and protect. Oh and my favourite part? No sharpening required. Simply twist the base for more balm – it’s easy-peasy!

You can be sure one of these babies are going into my pencil case. They may not help me with exam writing, but my lips will sure look good doing it :)! Happy Friday Beauty Nerds!

oh la la. cannot wait to try these! they look similar to urban decay’s super saturated high gloss lip colour sticks!

I’m not sure how pigmented Urban Decay’s version is – but these ones are quite sheer… it’s good to match my student attire though!

Do they glide on easily? I know you said they’re nourishing, but wasn’t sure how easily applicable they were. Thanks for sharing – we always love seeing new products and trends at: if you ever feel like sharing. :)
