Korres’ Magic Light Contouring Trio

I first laid eyes on Korres’ Magic Light Contouring Trio in a magazine about a month ago and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it ever since. Do any products ever have that effect on you? One look at the compact, and I immediately think summer… somewhere in some fancy locale… with an icy cocktail in hand…

It’s not just a pretty compact though. It actually functions as a blusher, bronzer and highlighter in one, so that you can sculpt and brighten complexions with ease. Aptly named, the Korres Magic Light Contouring Trio is meant to emulate the “magic light” of Greece. Korres recommends to use a angled blush brush to pick up the darker colours for shading areas such as the edges of your face or the hollows of your cheeks. This technique will instantly create dimension. I sometimes also like to shade along each side of my nose, to make my nose look a little taller. The lightest shade can be used all over the face, or in areas that are most likely to reflect the light, such as your cheekbones or browbones. This will instantly give your skin some luminosity. Finally, the medium colour can be used on the apples of your cheeks, producing a soft, flirty flush. Are you smitten yet? This cheery compact retails for $28.

What’s your go-to blush or bronzer this summer? Stay cool today, ladies – the heat is uber intense today!!

xoxo,
