Happy Monday Beauty Nerds!
If you follow me on Twitter, you may have seen a couple tweets re: the business plan competition that I was preparing for over the last couple of weeks. We finally competed yesterday and now I can breathe a big sigh of relief that the craziness is over (at least for a week or so ;)). The stress from it all though, really took a toll on my skin and my body. But then I discovered a product that was kind of magical. No exaggeration. I’m talking about Bella Luccè’s Manuka Honey Drizzle.
Have you heard of Bella Luccè? I must admit, I haven’t heard of them until I was sent this product. Bella Luccè is based out of South Carolina and they create globally-inspired, organically-infused skincare and bath products that are truly delectable! And don’t ask me why, I’ve always had a weakness for bath products accompanied by wooden honey sticks…
Anyway, last night when I got home from school, I felt like I needed something to unwind. So I rummaged through my product closet and found this amazing honey concoction. I think a hot bath was just what the doctor ordered…
I ran a little bit of the honey drizzle under hot water and my whole bath smelled of honey and citrus yumminess! The texture, as you can see, looks and feels almost like honey, but more emollient. Apparently, it’s made with Manuka, which is a “rare variety of honey harvested from New Zealand”. It’s also 53% organic and the packaging is made from recyclable material. All of Bella Luccè’s products are also free of parabens, petrolatum, pthalates, artificial dyes, harsh sulphates and silicones.
My skin was in 7th heaven. Not only was the texture divine, but the drizzle left my skin so soft and instantly revived! And interestingly, when I was slathering it on my skin, it almost had a slight warming effect – although I think I could have totally been imagining it! I don’t think I’ve been this excited about a bath product for a long time! For $32.00, I think it’s well worth the money. It’s important to treat yourself with an at-home spa indulgence every once in awhile. If you need something to de-stress- I highly recommend this!
What has your fall been like? Has stress also been getting the better of you?
