If you’ve been seeing the stores flooded with a disproportionate amount of pink lately, it’s probably because October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! And the world is a happier place when it’s filled with pink, don’t you think? More importantly though, it helps unite us so that we can all focus this month on supporting the fight against breast cancer. This cause is especially near and dear to my heart because my own aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer several years back (she has since fought it – thank God!). Like my aunt, there are many other brave, brave women out there – and they need our support!

I know a lot of beauty brands are coming out with their own versions of pink products for October, but instead of featuring everything, I thought I would just feature one – IMAN Cosmetics’ Sheer Bronzing Powder in Afterglow. Why Iman’s product? Because I like the fact that she often chooses to support causes related to racial inequality.
